A taxonomy of meta-desserts

I occasionally get emails asking for more dessert recipes to be posted on this blog. I'm working on one which I'll put up on Monday - meanwhile, Raspberry Debacle, a blog I enjoy enormously, has produced a sketch towards a taxonomy of meta-desserts, which should keep you happy over the weekend.

A quick question for readers - are there any recipes I've not blogged before which you'd like to see here? Please leave any suggestions in the comments section!

I get a complete kick out of your references to hyper-British foods. With that in mind, I would encourage you to try out some oldie-but-goodie ingredients that hearken back to Ye Olde Foode Days--I'm thinking along the lines of Rhubarb, Gooseberries, Currants, summer puddings, etc. I first found your site through your reference to medlars, which has to be one of the most obscure fruits ever cultivated anywhere...keep up the good work!
