A taxonomy of meta-desserts

I occasionally get emails asking for more dessert recipes to be posted on this blog. I’m working on one which I’ll put up on Monday – meanwhile, Raspberry Debacle, a blog I enjoy enormously, has produced a sketch towards a taxonomy of meta-desserts, which should keep you happy over the weekend.

A quick question for readers – are there any recipes I’ve not blogged before which you’d like to see here? Please leave any suggestions in the comments section!

  1. Hello!
Perhaps you have an interesting lasagna recipe…?
i just made one using grilled eggplant strips instead of noodles and i must say it was/is heavenly!
    cheers!

  2. I get a complete kick out of your references to hyper-British foods. With that in mind, I would encourage you to try out some oldie-but-goodie ingredients that hearken back to Ye Olde Foode Days–I’m thinking along the lines of Rhubarb, Gooseberries, Currants, summer puddings, etc. I first found your site through your reference to medlars, which has to be one of the most obscure fruits ever cultivated anywhere…keep up the good work!
